What file formats can be uploaded?

Most file formats are acceptable.

Why is the video I uploaded not immediately published live on the site?

All videos are reviewed before being published. You can edit your video as soon as it is uploaded by clicking on your username in the top right menu and then clicking on Edit beneath each video you have uploaded.

What should I do if the file I uploaded is not playing correctly?

Convert the file to another format and upload it. If that fails, upload the file to Youtube, download the FLV format file that Youtube produces, and upload that FLV format file. Any FLV file that Youtube produces will upload correctly here.

Can I add hyperlinks in the video description field?

Yes. But HTML can only be added after your video is uploaded, by going to your profile and editing the video description. You cannot add HTML at the time your video is being uploaded.
